AGRICULTURAL POLICY
This program is focused on
promoting and supporting the
export of locally produced
agricultural products (fresh
produce as well as
processed). The policy
protects an exporter of
agricultural products from
failure of its overseas
customer / buyer to make
agreed payments because of
unforeseen 3.commercial
credit or political risks.
The program does not cover
non-acceptance of the
agricultural products
delivered regardless of the
cause of non-acceptance;
spoilage, delivery delays,
quality disputes between the
exporter and buyer,
environmental regulatory
matters etc. are business
risks of the exporter and
are not covered.
Coverage is set at 98% of
the insured shipment. |
