SERVICES POLICY
It seeks to protect the exporting
service provider against the failure
of its overseas customers/buyers
to make agreed upon payments because
of unforeseen commercial or political
risks. The policy does not cover
any contract performance risks of
the exporter in fulfilling the service
contracts.
Examples of services covered by
this policy include engineering
and construction management, architectural
and design contracts, the provision
of computer and information technology
services, advertising, training
and consulting services. This policy
seeks to encourage services exporters
to promote and grow their business
abroad.
Services associated with music production,
the promotion and export of local
music including workshops and educational
programmes, cultural and trade exhibitions
etc.
- Musical Instruments (Steel
pan, Sitar, Tassa drum, African
drum).
- Recorded Music (CD manufacturing
and recording services).
- Documentary and drama production,
music video production, educational
video programmes etc.
- Local Craft Items.
- Art exhibitions.
Coverage is set at 95% of the
insured shipment.
