EXIMBANK’S TRADE CERTIFICATES
We enter the new millennium by offering investors EXIMBANK Trade Certificates, which are negotiable short-term money market instruments. These represent commercial paper suitable for investors generally but more particularly for those Exporters with idle cash balances seeking competitive returns in U.S. Dollars. These certificates bear the same flexibility as cash deposits but with greater returns.
Our Trade Certificates help to increase the quantum of funds available for on-lending to Exporters using EXIMBANK’s Pre-Shipment Financing and Post-Shipment Discounting Facilities. They also contribute to a reduction (net) in interest cost to such Exporters.
This unique investment opportunity, provides secured returns for thirty (30) days and up to one hundred and eight (180) days. Trade Certificates are issued on a limited scale with the minimum investment being US$5,000.00
